RMT Visuals is the wider photography home of Ricky Marsh, bringing together landscape, architecture, street and aerial work.
I am based in Greater Manchester and photograph the places, buildings and passing moments that catch my attention. Some work is planned carefully with a tripod, perspective-control lens or drone; some begins with simply noticing what is happening in front of me.
Wildlife remains a major part of my photography and has its own dedicated home at Wildlife Photographs. RMT Visuals gives the rest of the work room to breathe while also providing a clear place for architectural, aerial and commercial enquiries. Who flies the drone
- GVC-qualified drone pilot with a CAA Operational Authorisation for commercial work.
- 35 years in construction lifting operations: a CPCS A61 Appointed Person and CertIOSH, so flights over live sites are planned by someone who knows how sites run.
- Commercial flights are planned with a site-specific risk assessment agreed with the site team in advance.

The approach - Careful observation, confidently finished.
The subject changes, but the aim remains the same: make photographs that hold attention and preserve what was distinctive about a place or moment.
- Patient. Good light and strong moments rarely arrive on demand. I give a scene time and work the composition before pressing the shutter.
- Technically precise. Perspective, exposure and colour are controlled carefully, whether I am working with a tilt-shift lens, a long lens or a drone.
- Grounded in experience. The portfolio is built from real days in the field, real locations and first-hand observations rather than generic visual filler.
